I am an EMT/ Pastor. If a pt gives me permission to tell as a matter of prayer requests is that a violation?

The patient is a member of my congregation and I share information such as name, where we took that patient, as well as condition say Life threatening, as a matter of prayer requests for the congregation. All of this is shared only with the patients permission. If the patient requests that only the name be shared, that is all I share, if no permission, I do not share. Am I in violation of Hipaa when doing so?
